Terms and content guidelines

1. Who we are

Claim a Frame is run by [Company name] ([Organisation number]), [Address], Sweden. Contact us at hello@claimaframe.com. By placing a bid you agree to these terms.

2. Bidding

• Prices are per day, in US dollars, in whole dollars. Empty walls start at $1 per day.
• A new bid must beat the current bid on that wall by at least $1 per day.
• A bid is placed when you have saved a card with our payment provider, Stripe. Nothing is charged at that moment.
• Every bid is reviewed. When approved, the highest bid goes on the wall at once and replaces the work that hung there. A bid that is no longer the highest when it is approved does not go up, and nothing is charged for it.
• There is no minimum time on the wall. A higher approved bid can replace your work at any time.

3. Payment

• While your work hangs, you are charged your daily price for the exact time it is on the wall. Charges run every 7 days and when your work comes down.
• Each stay on the wall has a minimum charge of $0.50.
• If a charge fails, we may take your work down. You stay responsible for the time it was on the wall.
• Your card details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Your bank may add currency conversion fees.
• Because you pay only for time already on the wall, charges are not refunded, except where the law requires it or when we remove your work by mistake.

4. Content guidelines

You may hang logos, artwork, photos and brand images. We refuse or remove content that:

• is illegal, or promotes illegal products or services;
• shows nudity, sexual content, graphic violence or self-harm;
• contains hate, harassment, or discrimination against people or groups;
• impersonates a person or brand, or uses logos, trademarks or art you do not have the right to use;
• links to scams, malware, phishing, gambling or adult websites;
• is political advertising, or makes false or misleading claims;
• contains personal data about other people without their consent.

We may refuse any bid, and we may remove any work at any time if it breaks these rules or the law. If we remove your work for breaking the rules, you still pay for the time it was on the wall.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to your content. You confirm you have the right to hang it, and you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence to show it in the gallery, in share images and in screenshots of the gallery, for as long as it hangs and in archives of past exhibitions.

6. Links and visitors

Your wall label links to your website. We do not promise any number of visitors, views or clicks. Visitor numbers shown in the gallery are estimates.

7. Liability

The gallery is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect losses or lost profit. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms. The version shown when you place a bid applies to that bid. These terms follow Swedish law. Disputes go to a Swedish court, unless consumer law gives you the right to use a court where you live. Read how we handle your data in our privacy policy.
